UMAT 2018 registrations are now open. Testing date 25th July 2018.
The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), who is again administering the Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test (UMAT) has opened registrations for UMAT and set a test date of 25th July 2018.

The exam developed by ACER aims to assist with the selection of students for 2019 admissions into medicine and health science degree programs at undergraduate level in the following universities:
New South Wales
- Charles Sturt University – Dental Science
- The University of Newcastle / University of New England – Joint Medical Program
- The University of New South Wales – Medicine
- Western Sydney University – Medicine
Northern Territory
- Charles Darwin University – Clinical Sciences
Queensland
- The University of Queensland – Medicine (provisional entry), Dental Science
South Australia
- The University of Adelaide – Medicine, Dental Surgery
- Flinders University – Clinical Sciences/Medicine
Tasmania
- University of Tasmania – Medicine
Victoria
- La Trobe University – Health Sciences in Dentistry/Master of Dentistry Oral Health Science
- Monash University – Medicine
Western Australia
- Curtin University – Medicine
- The University of Western Australia – Medicine (Direct Pathway), Dental Medicine (Direct Pathway)
New Zealand
- The University of Auckland – Medicine
- University of Otago – Medicine, Dental Surgery
Timeline
Registration Cut-off: 5:00 pm AEST on 1 June 2018
Test Date: 25 July 2018
Release of Results: mid-September 2018
Late registrations are accepted until 5:00pm AEST on 15 June 2018, but late fees apply.
Registration Details
The only way to register for UMAT is online via the UMAT website. Before registration, applicants must read the UMAT 2018 Information Booklet and complete the UMAT Registration Tutorial.
Applicants should create an online account with a valid email address through which admission tickets and results can be accessed. Create an online account to register or login to an existing account here.
