What’s the best diet? Free public event in Brisbane run by Dietitian Connection

Dietitian Connection has put together a world-class program of speakers so that your patients / clients and any member of the public can go along and hear about what they should REALLY be eating. With the theme “What’s the best diet? Paleo? Gluten-free? Sugar-free?” the event is sure to do some major myth-busting about what healthy eating really is.

Dr Sue ShepherdDr Sue Shepherd - who is internationally recognised as a leading dietitian in the area of coeliac disease and irritable bowel syndrome. Sue’s topic will be “is a gluten-free or fodmap diet for me?”

Glenn CardwellGlenn Cardwell – who advises the public, the fresh produce industry, the food industry, health professionals and university students and has given nutrition seminars in Asia, Europe, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Glenn’s topic will be “debunking common nutrition myths.”

So if you are a health professional who has your patients or clients ask you about what diet is best, this is a great opportunity for them to hear from world class experts. I’m an optometrist and I have some patients who I will be inviting, so I’m sure you know some people who would benefit too!!
