Two Australian medical students win a private meeting with Bill Gates!

Two medical students from the Monash University, Jennifer Tang and Jarrel Seah, have won the 2014 Imagine Cup World Finals in World Citizenship category, presented their screening tool for anaemia, called Eyenaemia.

Eyenaemia is a mobile application to diagnose anaemia. It is worked by screening our eyes on the camera phone and analyses the conjunctiva and calculates the risk of anaemia. It is an easy and cheap application that allows people to test their possibility of suffering anaemia in just one selfie-like session.

Eyenaemia team was selected with two other teams to present their projects before three main judges. After three tough question sessions, they were declared as the overall winner of 2014 Imagine Cup. For this winning, they were granted a private meeting with Bill Gates.
