If you are looking at applying for post-graduate courses in medicine, dentistry, optometry or podiatric medicine in 2016 or 2017, you may need to sit the Graduate Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT) this year.
Is GAMSAT required for the course you wish to apply for?
If you hold a Bachelor’s Degree, GAMSAT is at least part of the requirement to gain entry into medicine at twelve universities, dentistry at three universities, optometry at one university, podiatric medicine at one university and pharmacy at one university throughout Australia. GAMSAT registration cut off and testing date
Registrations for the close at 5pm AEDT on 1st February 2015. The only day to sit GAMSAT in Australia in 2015 is Saturday 21st March.
The only way to register for GAMSAT is online. Candidates must read the GAMSAT Information Booklet 2015 before registering.
GAMSAT test centres
Test centres are in every capital city in Australia as well as Townsville.
